WHEN and WHERE ? North East of B R A Z I L, South America

Locations: Aquiraz, Amanari, and a beach location in the CEARÁ STATE

Training Camp in Patacas, Ceará ( 35 km from Fortaleza ) 8th to 14th of July 2011 – a time of getting to know the rest of the Circus team and to assist important lessons, practice dramas, puppet shows, clowning, joggling and prepare for outreach- Bilingual – English/Portuguese.

Impact tour to Amanari and the beach location: 15th to 29th of July 2011



WHAT are we going to do?

Minister Gods love in the interior of Brazil! Bring joy and hope ! Impact the lifes of many! Experience Gods faithfulness! Make children laugh and smile!.... Have lot`s of fun!



We are having programs with performance with use of puppets, clowns, pantomime, drama, music, joggling etc. in the Circus tent in the mornings for children age 5 to 12 years, and at nights for the whole family, in the locations together with people from the local evangelical churches. Ministering courses, seminars, workshops other hours for teachers, people involved in ministries among children and youth in the local churches. Reaching out through teaching in the health area especially for mothers and children. Visit local churches and families and much more… an unforgetful experience!



FOR WHOM? Why not you, or someone in your church or family or among your friends?

Young people and adults from 18 years and up, with a desire to see God work in their lives and through their lives, going for challenges, having a general good health, recommended by their pastor, and able to provide prayer support and the finances for the travel and participation.You do not necessarily need to know any Portuguese or Spanish beforehand, but have a willingness to learn.

YEARLY SHORT REPORT

Yearly report of the Ministry Circus Victory Nov. 2010
Dear Friends of Circus Victory - Christian Clowns without boarders

Evaluating here in few lines, the year 2010 nearly coming to an end, with gratefulness in our hearts, for all what the Lord provided of experiences for sure also remembering our intercessors and supporters, helping to make everything possible. We depend on you !

We had 2 big impacts with the circus, one in January, where we did work in Maranguapé, Amanaiara and Sobral in the Ceará State of the Northeast.

In July we did have the second impact, first of all going to Patacas, working in partnership with Davis Lar, Orphanage of Action Internacional, and then going to Fortaleza, to the Henrique Jorge part and Jatoba. And we thank God hundreds of children did respond to the gospel.

We had in both occasions teams of volunteers joining us, going through first of all a week of training. And it was a real experience of growth in the lives of most of them.

Also here in October the month of the child, we have been invited to more than 10 events at churches, schools etc. reaching out to thousand of children, through creative apresentations for children, training local people to join as clowns and performers too. Also in Juazeiro do Norte during the impact there, in partnership with YWAM, many children were ministered too.

We are in a campaign in order to get a bus, and so far we have been able to raise around 10 000 reais towards the buy. Please pray with us in order to get the last part, and find the right one, and see the dream come trough.

We have as a couple bought( we paid 1/3 of the price so far, the rest we are paying over 5 years, as we did took up a loan.) a land next to a lake in the municipality of Aquiraz. And at the land, we have the oficial address of the Association Victory too, as 2 smaller existing buildings serves as store rooms for a part of the circus material. We have started to build our house on the land too, but not moved out there yet, but hope to in the beginning of 2011. We plan to be able to run training camps for the circus there in the future, and also to run a rehab centre there.

In January 2011 we are taking a team to the North, in order to work reaching out to river dweller communities, in partnership with another mission: Alcance Maritimo- Maritime Reach of YWAM ( http://www.amazonreach.org/ ). It is a 2 week trip and we are already making preparations to the impact.

WHY? Consider for a moment the eternal significance of having a ministry with children and youth in Brazil, the largest country on the South American continent, with aprox. 200 million people, where more than half of them are under the age of 20 years. And to go, where few have been going so far, to people living at the boarders of the many smaller rivers linked to the Amazon River, a “ forgotten “ people group.

The fem smaller local evangelical churches and local christians need your help, your support and encouragement, even during less than 2 weeks you can inspire in reaching out to the up growing generation in dynamic and creative ways, and you are going to learn a lot, and get many un forgetful rich experiences on a multicultural and interdenominal team. Don`t miss it!

And much more..........We are having programs with performance with use of puppets, clowns, pantomime, drama, music, joggling etc. together with people from the local evangelical churches , where they exist. We are also participating in tradicional local church services and or open airs. Reaching out through teaching in the health area, distribution of kits etc. especially for mothers and children. Visit families and smaller more isolated communities, pray for the sick and much more….


FOR WHOM? Why not you?

Young people and adults from 18 years and up, with a desire to see God work in their lives and through their lives, going for challenges, having a general good health, recommended by their pastor, and able to provide prayer support and the finances for the travel and participation. You do not necessarily need to know any Portuguese or Spanish beforehand, have had cross cultural experience or experience with impacts, children’s work and clowning before. For professionals in the health area, it is going to be a different experience, if you do know, how to cut hair etc. it is helpful too.

HOW MUCH?

The travel expenses depends on, where you are living. It is possible to go directly via São Paulo, Rio, Brasilia or Fortaleza to Belém by plane.

The participation fee( including local travel ( not to and from airport to training location ), accommodation and drinking water and food – T-shirt, training camp etc. ) US $350– registration US$ 50- you can ask for the application form, packing list etc. sending us an e-mail.
