Activities in the first part of 2022 at the Childrens House, school support and the creative mothers course....

We have been running different workshops for the women over the last months, with an ok participation, despite of much rain and mud at the roads around, complicating to get to our place, and also no good for small cars to pass. But now in June, the rain is more stopping, and the sun is helping, so it is getting more dry again We have had special events around womens day, mothers day and also some days with focus on health, with teaching. Also few days with gracious second hand clothes market, and in May we had the orange month, focusing on the difficult issues af sexual abuse with children and teenagers as victims.

The children have been participating in shcool support in dinamic ways too. Some photos here too from the Elected Generation !

Beginning of the new year 2022 Short report January and February

UP DATE : We are in the campaign to raise funds to buy very soon another transport of the mission, and we ask for ongoing prayers for this We also do pray for protection, as the violence in local communities is raising in connection with the stress of the ongoing financial crise, and the hardship the pandemic situation has caused and is continuing to cause. The public health sistem is having a hard time to deal with the many other health issues of the population, being postphoned because of also the corona priority for very long. We are having activities in the Childrens House and a need of smaller reforms on the building due to the rain seasons normal damage in general. We are now preparing for the celebration of Womans Day the 8th of March, where we do plan extra events in order to valorize the local women in the community.

In January a work of impact did happen in Calçoene, Amapá in the North, a team of 3, Nonato, Kirsten and Raulian together with members of the local Baptist Church did run activities during 2 days. And the families in the sponsorship program JIREH were assisted, a competition of painting with water colors did happen too, and the clever artists were all praised and a few chosen as the winners of the competition.
