A VERY BLESSED CHRISTMAS -With photos from some of the activities in the Childrens House in District of Patacas, Aquiraz, CE during the second part of the year 2021

A caleidoscopical view of photos from activities in the Childrens House for women and the younger generation in this second part of the year of 2021, still a few more weeks to go, with workshops and special programs, before Christmas. Even with the pandemic situation, with use of face masks, and faceshields, we have been able to carry out activities for a number of adults and children. And we are grateful for this. We have been focusing on art too, drawing and painting workshops, with a first module for children and some mothers too. Also school support has taken place in some months, and also English lessons for bigger boys from 5th to 8th form. In September the lessons at school did start up again parcially only. So a very long time without lessons at school the ordinary way for the children and adolescents here in the rural context, with lack of stimulation.

A very special day with participation of around 100 children and some adults too. We decided to do open air, because of the higher number of participants, when open air, in the midst of pandemic restrictions too. We had presentations of dramas and small dinamics, musics, and competitions among students in our English Classes and also Craft workshops. And of course also a momento of cake and biscuits, popcorn, soft drinks too, and a surprise to each child.

A Saturday morning taking the some things along to the local community, a volunteer hairdresser did offer to cut hair, in order to make a difference, in the negative pandemic situation around , do not discount its value to the local children, to have the opportunity to play in a different way a few hours. A few photos here from the day ! Thank you to the cooperators, we were only 3 volunteer adults, with a vision to show the love of GOD, to coordenate and help out, but quite a number of locals were assisted, also through conversations and pieces of advice given. Especially about the challenging study of the children at home during now nearly one and a half year. We did make a new rise of numbers of families for the worm medication program, we do run also, assisting the families in the local community and trying to beat the negative consequences of anemic problems in some of the families. Soon hopefully with the needed funds, we can offer more assistance to the families. Activities in the Association Victory - CIRCUS VICTORY - Aquiraz, CE, Brazil - second part of the year 2021

We have re iniciated activities in the ministry here in District Patacas, municipality of Aquiraz, Ceará in the Northeast of Brazil. Due to the pandemic situation, we are having less participants in the courses, workshops, lectures and school support programs. We are focusing to be present in the local community, and we do also visits and try to help with transport to the activities here, as we do have the VW. We are also looking into, how it is going to be possible to have a stronger partnership with the local municipality schools first grade. We are in need of volunteers, to help running the activities, and you are welcome to contact to hear more about this challenge. If you are energetic and motivated, have an interest in rural community development - maybee health issues, workshop teaching, do like to be around children and going for growth in your own personal life through new challenges.
